This group animation was a live brief set by GOSH in collaboration with the University for the Creative Arts. Our brief was to create a calming animation educating hospitalised children on emotional regulation using the 5 finger breathing technique. As a team, we worked on making this technique easily understandable and accessible for those children and teach them to manage stress by following along with the instructions and practicing the technique. By using their fingers as a visual aid, children learn to inhale and exhale in a specific pattern to calm themselves.
I composited the team’s animation clips in After Effects, aligning them with each other, using keyframes and transitions when necessary. I also edited the animation in
Premiere Pro where I put everything together: intro, main animation, outro, sound and music.
